The goal of retail banking is to become a one stop shop for your customers, making them the central focus. Components of a retail banking atmosphere include:

• Coffee/Hospitality Bar
• Internet Café
• Children’s Area
• Knowledge center - containing pertinent bank products and services information that is easily accessible. This area may also include a small computer area to allow customers to make online transactions.
• Community Area: Often these areas include a small kitchenette, or hook-ups for projection equipment for use by members of the financial institution for personal use.
